We Made A Dimensional Display With Perimeter Cuts Only?!

Concept

An Automotive Manufacturer came to us with a need to build an eye-catching display that effectively communicated their brand values and showcased their latest vehicles. However, their budget constraints and the need for quick assembly presented significant challenges. We proposed a unique design utilizing foamboard, which is both lightweight and cost-effective. Our design team conceptualized a modular display featuring a grid-like pattern, allowing panels to interlock and create a freestanding structure.

01_Challenge

Design a cost effective display featuring ease of setup, is lightweight, communicates information, and can be quickly produced.

02_Solution

The grid design enabled panels to easily slot into one another, providing stability while maintaining a lightweight form. This modularity allowed us to digitally print the small quantity parts and screen print the high volume parts, enabling cost-effective production.

With our interlocking design, we further reduced costs by using fewer dies. The install could be done with 1 person, no tools and took less than 5 minutes. The lightweight nature of foamboard made shipping economical, as the display could be easily processed by standard shipping.
